HELLO, I'M LAWRENCE KENSHIN

In the past 10 years, I've helped over 1.5 million + followers across my social media improve their fight IQ, but my story was an unlikely one.

After graduating university, I wanted to try out being a martial arts writer. But I was rejected by all websites.

When I first started creating content online back in 2013, there was little to no content based on technique analysis in combat sports. At a time when I had no followers, I decided to send an article I wrote to Joe Rogan...

What happened next was crazy, Joe was extremely supportive—he applauded the analysis, saying it was excellent and  encouraged me to keep going. 

After this moment, Lawrence Kenshin Striking Breakdowns was born. 

Months later, Joe Rogan credited my work for helping him become "ultra-fascinated with striking sequences in high level kickboxing and Muay Thai."

But thats not all...

Within a few years, all of my martial art heroes approached me to show incredible support of the educational content I was creating.

I was humbled by how legends had reached out to show their appreciation, so I continued to pay it forward by sharing their brilliance and story with the world.

Since then, thousands of martial artists from all over the world have written in to tell me how much my work has helped them transform on their striking journey.

It's truly been a great honor to serve martial artists for a decade online now – from passionate beginners to world class champions. 

Whatever technical goals they pursued, my work helped them get closer to mastery.

Technique fight analysis was once a very minute niche, but today, it has gone mainstream.

Along the way, it has transformed the way many people learn and view martial arts.

Thanks to legends and incredible supporters like you, it's has also helped me become one of the top educators and storytellers in the martial arts world. 

Today, on top of creating unique and systematic video courses with legends, I also coach and game plan amongst these legends.

Since my mentor in sports science, Dr. Yessis passed away, I have been coaching at the highest level to preserve his legacy.

Dr. Yessis was one of the greatest sports scientists of all time, and we have developed a few innovative training ideas that unlock new training progression. My current team includes world champions, top ranked prospects, amateur champions, and high-profile entrepreneurs.

We have a 90% win rate.

While my story has gotten a bit crazy and hard to believe, the truth is I still get most excited about all of the "regular martial artists" that I've helped in getting closer to mastery. 

I believe anyone can become an advanced striker if they're given the right tools, and my mission is to make legendary Muay Thai, kickboxing, and MMA technique widely accessible for everyone.

This is because my own journey all started from nothing... I'll never forget how nervous I was publishing my first few videos and sending it to my heroes.

Back then, I'd spend weeks studying a legend and their brilliant patterns. I would put what I learned into a breakdown video—all for free—and people loved it.

And when the legends watched my breakdowns, they said it was like I was reading their minds.

Namsaknoi on Lawrence Kenshin

Namsaknoi is a key mentor of Buakaw, the greatest kickboxer of all time representing Muay Thai. But even more than that, Namsaknoi owns the highest win rate in Muay Thai history at 95% wins in 300 fights, at one point reigning at the top without a single defeat for 6 years straight.

Chatri Sityodtong on Lawrence Kenshin

Here's the founder of One Championship, Chatri Sityodtong, on my work. Chatri Sityodtong one of the most influential martial artists. He was also touted by the legendary coach Yodtong Senanan–the greatest coach in Muay Thai history–to be the conservator of Sityodtong Muay Thai.

Israel Adesanya on Lawrence Kenshin

Here's Israel Adesanya, UFC champion and the most prolific striker in the UFC today on my work. With my in-depth analysis, I was able to accurately predict Israel Adesanya's quick rise to the UFC championship, as well as the way he'd do it in the fights prior to his superstardom. 

What an honor it was to hear the greatest striker in MMA say that I was giving his blueprint away... and that by doing so, it'll force him to keep adapting in order to stay ahead of his great opponents. Watching the "Style Bender's" rise has been one of my favorite journeys to follow.

I also accurately predicted Alex Pereira's rise, how they'd meet again in the UFC, and the techniques and strategies of how they'd each defeat each other. Due to studying Alex Pereira, I'd also predict with 100% accuracy how Pereira's fight with Khalil Rountree would play out.

Coban on Lawrence Kenshin

Coban is best known for his rivalry with the great Ramon Dekkers, whose considered by many in Thailand to be the most influential foreign fighter of all time. He’s a 2-time Lumpinee Stadium champion and 5-time world champion. His fight with Dekkers forever changed the Muay Thai world.

Samart Payakaroon on Lawrence Kenshin

Samart Payakaroon is widely considered the greatest fighter of all time in Thailand. Not only did he dominate the Muay Thai world, he also dominated the boxing world in the most elegant way possible. He noted the importance of my work, that the west may not have otherwise been exposed to legends such as himself. In his perspective, by introducing the best of golden era Muay Thai to the world, foreigners would find their way to  Thailand to learn the national art and sport.

Firas Zahabi on Lawrence Kenshin

Firas Zahabi is considered by many as having one of, if not the most brilliant mind in all of MMA. As the head coach of Georges St Pierre and Tristar Gym, as well as a prodigiously talented martial artist, he is considered one of the greatest coaches of all time. Like Joe Rogan, Firas Zahabi has been supportive of Lawrence Kenshin Striking Breakdowns since day 1. Together, we have developed game plans for a few of the most prolific fights in history.

New Update in 2024

In the years 2023 to 2024, I have been taking a hiatus to continue my mentor's legacy.

Dr. Yessis had a life changing impact on me, and because he passed away with his most important ideas going unrecognized, it became my calling to spread it to the world.

As painful as it was to pause striking breakdown and to start coaching some of the best strikers around the world, it has been a very meaningful journey. 

Soon, I will reveal what our innovations are, and I believe we can set new standards for progression with it. 

My current team includes world champions, top ranked prospects, amateur champions, and high-profile entrepreneurs.

In season 1, "Team Kenshin" produced a 90% win rate out of 26 fights.

We were very close to capturing several of the biggest titles in striking.

I will be releasing what we have documented soon.
